Pure SUP Yoga uses plant based resins in place of toxic petroleum based chemicals. The amount of fiberglass required for construction is minimized with the use of sustainable wood stringers and laminates. All boards are glassed using the only USDA certified bio epoxy on the planet, Super Sap from Entropy Resins. Other material used in construction include: bio plastic leash plugs, handles, recycled or recyclable foam, sustainably harvested wooden stringers, or bamboo stringers and bamboo veneers. The best part is that our boards are each made with love right here in California!
These boards are shaped with a flat deck and wider design to help with stability while exercising on the board. The slight rocker at nose and tail allow for use in the surf while maintaining stability in the center of the board. These boards are lightweight, easy to carry with a special handle that pops out and they have netting at the nose of the board for storage. Perfect for touring around or practicing your yoga on the water!

An ECOBOARD must be made from at least one of the following materials:
1. FOAM Blank: made from minimum 40% recycled foam or at least 40% biological content
2. EPOXY Resin: made from minimum 15% biological content
3. WOOD Blank: A blank structure made from sustainably sourced biological/renewable material (aka-wood) that provides the majority of the surfboard’s material and structural integrity – and therefore significantly reduces the amount of foam or resin needed to build the board
Sustainable Surf’s research suggests that the use of these types of materials produces a longer lasting, high-performance surfboard, with a significant reduction in carbon footprint vs. a typical surfboard. Specifically designed for those who prefer to practice yoga in the best studio of all, on the water.
